Velocity Pro Wrestling – New Alhambra – Philadelphia
  • Show starts with the ring announcer and referee Mike Keener in the ring. During the opening announcements, the lights go out. You hear a Singapore cane hit and when the lights come back on you have Stephanie and Adam Flash standing over the knocked out Keener. They tell the crowd they are the first family of wrestling and they dictate what goes on in their arena. The lights go out again. When they return, Chris Hero is standing in the ring. Hero lets them know they are not welcome in Velocity Pro. When Adam tried to hit Chris with the cane, Hero moved out of the way and started on the chops. Enough chops to push him to the ropes and then finally used a clothesline to get him out of the ring.
  • First match for the new promotion saw Chris Hero use a spinning forearm to defeat Hallowicked.
  • Aramis defeated Super Hentai with a vertebreaker.
  • The Best Around over The New Hollywood Blondes
  • All Money Is Legal defeated Chris Ansert & Phil Boucher. After the win, All Money Is Legal continued the beat down until Balls Mahoney came in to make the save. It didn’t work, as AMIL got the upper hand until Axl Rotten runs in to help Mahoney. Axl demands a match with AMIL later in the evening.
  • 21 Time ICW/ICWA Texarkana TV Champion Larry Sweeney successfully defended the title with a handful of tights and holding the ropes over Shiima Xion.

Chrissy comes out from the curtain. York wasn’t ready for the Ruckus attack from behind.
  • Ruckus wins the heavyweight title. The Maryland State Athletic Commissioner comes out and declares the match a no contest as the referee assigned to the match was not the one to do the three count, so the title stays with Christian York.
  • Shane Shamrock Cup Finals had Joey Matthews pin Rhett Titus, Derek Frazier then pinned Devon Storm and Josh Daniels. • Sal Rinauro retained the FIP Florida Heritage title over the way over Joey Ryan. Huge support for the debut of Joey and the “please come back” chant.
  • Go Shiozaki defeated Nigel McGuinness in a non-title match. Another “please come back” chant. This one was NOT for Nigel.
  • In another brutal match between the FIP champion Roderick Strong and Erick Stevens, this time it was a dog collar match. This back and forth match was eventually won by Erik Stevens to win the World Title for the second time.

  • Shawn Spears used a neckbreaker to defeat TJ Wilson
  • Colt Cabana, Atlas DeBone (I mean Ricky Ortiz) and one half of the Bella Twins won their six-man tag match. Colt is way over with the crowd and Ricky still doesn’t know how to properly do an Irish Whip. I can’t believe they put him on TV and even gave him talking time. Just because you have wacky hair doesn’t mean you can wrestle. Colt needs to be called up, he has just as much charisma as Ricky, yet he can wrestler and even better, but a promo.
  • Nick Nemeth over Greg Jackson with a flying downward spiral
  • John Cena comes out and does the obligatory how great the FCW is. Shawn Spears comes out and questions why Cena is at the FCW. He goes on to say it is risky for someone like him as all of these hungry athletes are just chomping at a chance to take out the top dog. Cena tells Spears that he is always ready for a fight, so bring it. Spears tells him that he isn’t here to hurt him, but he should watch his back. When Cena looks behind him, Spears attacks but Cena picks him up and hits the FU.
  • FCW Florida Champion Jake Hager retained by hitting a reverse suplex on Heath Miller.
  • Big Irish Sheamus used his high spinbuster to defeat Ricky Ortiz. After the match Sheamus cuts a spot on how Finlay’s leprechaun Hornswoggle has made Irish people a joke and issues a challenge to Finlay.
  • Bump machine Evan Bourne returned and even got some “Sydal” chants during the match. This match was all Afa Jr. Bourne got in a few kicks and then went to hit the shooting star but missed. Afa picked him up and hit an inverted F-5 for the win.
  • Chris Jericho comes out and tells everyone that they don’t deserve to cheer him. Everyone in the building are a bunch of liars and hypocrites. He brings out a wrestler who has a bright future. Nick Nemeth. He also brings out Joe Hennig. He tells Joe that he has to choose a path. Listen to him or all the liars and hypocrites. Joe chooses not to listen to Jericho. This makes him mad, so Jericho and Nemeth put the beat-down on Hennig.
  • Another 6-man with a bunch of people who all look a like and was pretty boring.
  • Kelly Kelly comes out and puts over the FCW Divas. They have a twist off and it turns in a big cat fight.
  • Main Event saw the FCW Tag Team Champions Drew McKintyre & Stu Sanders take on the Puerto Rican Nightmares (Eddie Colon “Carlito’s brother” & Eric Perez.) Eddie hit a modified backcracker for the three-count to become the new tag team champions
